
A few DO's from Andrea and one DON'T
- DO use lyrical and evocative language ala Mem Fox
- DO create characters your readers can relate to -- a character that is 100% good is not a lot of fun...
- DON'T do bad rhyme
A great example of one of the other roles an editor has it to believe in what you [the author/the illustrator] are doing... [to see that] fragment of your idea and go with you on that...To not panic and be able to ask calm questions...
