Conference Final Thoughts

As I sit and watch door prizes being awarded and get ready to head to the autograph party, I offer you my last conference post of the day. Over then next few days I'll be making them prettier (and probably catching a few typos here and there), so tell you writer friends to pop in and read the wisdom offered by all the great conference presenters--fell free to link here from your own blog.

    I'm now looking foward to the LA conference. Hope you'll be there so that I can let you do all the note-taking while I listen in awe to the speakers. My notes taking skills are abysmal.

    Hi Alice, I was so excited see that you were posting from New York! GREAT Notes!!! Thank you!

    We met briefly at SCBWI LA 2007 and I posted a comment back then about how I mixed you up with someone else (oy!), but I've just been a lurker here ever since. I have to come out of lurk mode to tell you my fabulous news - I recently signed with Tracey Adams (I went to that conference specifically to meet her) and she just sold a THREE-BOOK deal for me with Scholastic!!! I'm flying!!!
