MK, I would have loved to post all the tips but we are only allowed to post the highlights of the conference, plus we were trying to keep these blogs pithy. :) I am exhausted and can't remember anything now post-conference (so brain dead), but I do remember overall her points were that sometimes a pass for intermediate and "this close to getting pubbed" authors had to do ultimately with voice. Your writing can be strong and "publishable," but it sometimes just boils down to personal taste and whether or not your voice speaks to an editor. I personally think you should believe in your voice and trust that there IS an editor out there who will "get" your voice and love your voice.
